We are incredibly excited to welcome your child to Co-op Academy Leeds in September.
We are absolutely thrilled that you’ll be joining our academy community this September. Transitioning to Year 7 is a big, exciting step, and we want you to know that you aren’t just joining a school—you’re joining a vibrant community where we celebrate every student’s unique heritage and story. At Co-op Academy Leeds, we believe in being yourself, always.

Your Transition Days: A Sneak Peek at Year 7
To help you feel right at home, we’ve cleared the calendar for you on Thursday, 2nd July and Friday, 3rd July.
These days are all about helping us succeed together. You will:

Explore: Find your way around your new building and discover your favourite spots.

Connect: Meet your future classmates and start building lifelong friendships.

Experience: Dive into exciting secondary-level lessons and meet our passionate teachers.
Getting Ready
To make sure we do what matters most and stay focused on the fun, please remember:

What to wear: Proudly wear your current primary school uniform.

What to bring: Just your pencil case, your favorite pens, and a snack/drink for break time.

Lunch is on us! We’ll provide a delicious lunch for you on both days so you can refuel with your new friends.
We’re Coming to See You!
After the Easter break I will be visiting your primary school. We believe in showing we care by listening to you, so we’ll be there to share more details and, most importantly, to answer your questions. No question is too small—start thinking about what you’d like to know!
Finally, we want to wish you the very best of luck with your upcoming SATs. Just do your best—that’s all that matters. We can’t wait to meet you and start this journey together!

September 2026: All Year 7 students will receive all four branded items when they join the academy; subsequent branded items will need to be purchased. Further information will be shared with you when you attend your admission meeting.
