The Importance of Year 11

As we move into the spring term, we must reinforce that this is the most critical phase of the academic journey for our Year 11 students. The coming months are vital for consolidating knowledge and focusing on examination technique. Every lesson, every piece of homelearning, and every revision session from now until the start of the GCSE exams will have a direct impact on their final results.

We understand that this period can be demanding, but with your continued support at home and our commitment to high-quality teaching and focused revision in school, we are confident that every student can achieve their full potential.

Updated Revision Offer and Support

To ensure students have the best possible chance of success, we have refreshed and expanded our Year 11 Revision Offer. This includes specific subject workshops, targeted intervention sessions, and access to key resources.

The updated schedule detailing all of the available sessions and support materials is attached to this letter. We strongly encourage you to review this document with your child to identify sessions that will be most beneficial for them. Attendance at these sessions is highly recommended and forms a crucial part of their preparation.

• WC 2nd February Year 11 Mocks will begin
