Our students led the Roma cultural sensitivity training with NHS workers from 12 GP practices. A watershed moment for the Roma community! 

Amalia, our Year 11 Student, talked about her educational journey from Italy, where she was discriminated against, to the UK. She expressed her gratitude to Co-op Academy Leeds for allowing her to flourish, be herself and feel that she belonged. Andy Haigh, the director, thanked Co-op Academy Leeds for being so supportive of the Roma community and for being the most impressive key player for inclusion in the local community. We look forward to developing our partnership to support Roma students!
