Wayne joined the Co-op leadership team in January 2026 as Assistant Principal for Behaviour and brings over 18 years of experience working across five secondary schools in Leeds.

He has extensive expertise in behaviour, safeguarding and teaching, and is passionate about ensuring that every student, regardless of background has the opportunity to succeed. Wayne believes in thinking creatively to remove barriers to learning and achievement.

A strong advocate of restorative practice, he places positive relationships at the centre of his work. He is committed to working in partnership with families to ensure school and home collaborate effectively to secure the very best outcomes for every child.
