Transition - Starting in September
We are incredibly excited to welcome your child to Co-op Academy Leeds in September.
Start date
Your child’s first day will be Tuesday 2nd September 2025. Your child will enter through the front gate on Stoney Rock Lane from 8.15 am. The day will start at 8.25 am and finish at 3.05pm. Your child can be collected from the front gate.
Your child will need to bring a packed lunch, unless they are entitled to free school meals.
Parent information session
On Monday 1st September, there will be a parent information session from 2pm am to 4 pm in the library. You will be asked to sign the academy-home agreement, medical forms and photograph permissions.
Uniform
Uniforms can be purchased from Jo Brand, 371 Harehills Ln, Leeds LS9 6AP, www.uniwears.co.uk.
Additionally, you will need to purchase a white shirt, black tailored trousers, and plain black footwear.

You may also choose to purchase a Co-op Academy Leeds branded blazer, which are available from the uniform shop. https://www.leeds.coopacademies.co.uk/uniform

Being prepared
Your child will need a pencil case with 2 black pens, 2 red pens, a pencil and a ruler. If required, these can be purchased from main reception for £2.
Help your child to have a successful start at Co-op Academy Leeds by ensuring they remain in a routine with a regular bedtime. Please encourage your child to read over the holidays - they can get a free library card from Compton Library which enables them to borrow books. Additionally, Thackray Medical Museum opens for free every Monday to anyone who lives or works in Harehills.
